I am 99.8 % done with a 1969 dart gts. A couple parts left not sure what they are. They were in a box. Can anyone tell me what they are for?

I know the bottom bracket in the picture goes inside the door and is used to support the latch rod that goes from the inside door handle back to the latch mechanism , the one that releases the latch when you open the door from the inside. I think it is more an anti rattle bracket. Will function fine without it but you may get a nasty door rattle. The other bracket I am not sure but suspect something similar as it does look like an inside door part.

Is that silver seat material or light green?

Looks like silver upper door paint. Haven't seen that on an A-body.

Seems like an interesting car.

It has light metallic green seats and the upper doors are light green also. The picture doesn't show the color very well. It has been a very fun project. 340 4-speed, stripe delete car. All numbers match too. Black plate car. Just got done restoring it's original plates

Nice.

Was it from So Cal or Nor Cal?

A "ZX...." plate. Was your car built in second half of production year (after Jan '69). Any idea when it was first sold?

looks like a real nice car. . Was there much metal work done in the restoration or a no rust car. I like that green on green and dog dish. It's the type of car I would buy. Congrats on a great job .

Torrance California. I am the third owner. This car was solid. Zero metal issues. Had some baked off paint. Here is a pic before the restoration.

That's not to far from home.

What is the SPD?

Torrance would have gone through plates fast. Might be able to give a window on date sold by going off plate and looking at other '69 cars with know sold dates.

In those other pictures it looks like there is a dealership frame on the back plate?

I'd love to see more pictures of it. Mine is F8 with gold interior and stripe delete, also a 340 4 speed, mine is a console car. SPD 927.

I posted some more pics on Member Projects and Survivor section. I don't want to sound like a rookie, but what does SPD mean?

Scheduled Production Date. Some call it the build date, but it isn't really that.

Did you have any idea what dealership it came from? Was it in Torrance it's whole life?

You win!

Mine had a BB K-member in it when I got it, it was a pretty mean street racer back in the day. Then a really nice member here stole it from me due to me being to trusting, I even paid $70 to ship it to him. Bigblockaholic, Greg Metallinos, fine fellow.
