Had to leave the barracuda outside because of garage renovations, got hit with a snow storm and woke up to a snow drift inside it! Its cleaned up now and the offending opening sealed with some thick foam. The passenger side door glass has never fit right, not really even close. The door is not original to the car and I was wondering if maybe it came from a notchback or convert, if I recall correctly their door glass is different. If thats the case how could I tell?

I think all three are quite a bit different; do you have a pic?

A couple of Pictures, the gap is widest at the top, you can't really see it in the pictures though, the window sits almost all the way up against the rail that the gasket sets in. I tried adjusting it on many occations in the past with this being the closest I could seem to get it. The gap is both depth wise and lenghtwise in relation to the rear quater glass. I tried adjusting that one too in relation to the door glass with no better results.

There are adjustments inside the door to help with fitment issues. As for the glass being different from notch to vert to fastback. Yes there is a big difference. The vert and notch slope toward the rear of the door as the fastback is squared off.

I parted out a 67 fastback and still have one of the door glasses. I don't remember off hand if it's driver or passenger. I'll check and see.
I'd sell it cheap if you need it .

That's not coupe glass. You may just need to adjust the stops so it goes up more. As for the numbers, glass was made in May, 1969.

I almost had the same issue with my '67 Fastback...the seal is not too good....but like mentioned before, you should be able to get something decent with the adjusting screws...the bottom one will help you with the gap, while the top on ewith the roof seal.....

Thanks for the replies guys. I may have mis-spoke earlier, the gap is all in relation to the quarter glass. Theres no gap along the actual top of the window, its just that the gap vs the quarter glass is wide at the top. If anything it probably sits too high in relation to the roof rail. Anyhow its buttoned up now, I'll take another crack at re-aligning things when I can get it back in the garage and I'll post more at that point if I have any questions. Thanks
