I know and have seen the plymouth version of the A12 promotional covers but did dodge use some too? I saw this post on CL for some repop ones and I wondered if the Dodge ones were real A12 promotional covers they used as I have never seen them. http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/pts/4866875866.html

Hey Tony, where they only on the driver's side front tire as that is all I have seen for the plymouth ones or where they on multiple rims as that pics looks like drivers side back tire. Thanks
I guess that looks like a sway bar now not a leaf spring so that must be a front passenger side.

The hardware only allows the installation on the front spindles. They would be on both sides. I believe the road runner versions are directional... the bird would be charging forward.
Restoring a car to look "only" as good as the factory made it is like getting a boob job for your wife and having the doctor make them two different sizes to seem more natural

Friend has them on his a 12 bee. I've seen pics before but never in real life. Had not seen his car until it was in local parade. That's a sight seeing a car moving but what appears front wheels are stationery. You take a double look!

I saw the promotional stunt and did a double take when Plymouths were driven around with only one front wheel. The torsion bar on the side with the wheel was either jacked up way high or something was special about the bar or suspension. I remember they had no problem turning at intersections. This was publicity for the first year of the torsion bars, maybe 1957.
