I have a 64 Dodge Sweptline d100, one of the front hubs had the drum replaced at some point by a previous owner and it appears that they pressed out the studs without removing the swage first. Thus, the hole in the hub is enlarged so much that the replacement studs that fit the other sides hub perfectly, just drop into this hub and spin even when turned by hand. The new studs I have have a knurl of .635 when measured with a caliper.

Anyone know a part number for a stud with a larger knurl that might work on my front hubs?

Just get a .685 knurl which is very common on Mopar cars. Any parts store should have them. You may have to drill for the correct press fit.

Thanks....what would be the correct press fit? .015-.020 interference maybe? or?

A 43/64 bit would give me .0131 interference fit....21/32 bit is .0287 fit. But since drilling isn't that precise...I'm sure the hole would be a little bigger.

A 610-287 or 610-103 stud requires a 21/32" bit.
