what will be the effects if I decide to keep the /6 torsion bars and leaf springs when I upgrade to an LA or B engine?

Mushy handling mainly...(from the smaller diameter slant torsion bars)

I'm too cheap to shell out 300+ dollars for a set of t bars for the B/RB so I think I'll go with the LA. I know where a car is that I can pull a set from. Thanks.

when we built my dart from a slant to a 360 we used used t bars from a 318 car. i installed an 8 3/4 but ran the stock saggy leafs for two seasons. no sway bars. 360 a body is the ultimate street/strip combo.

I'm going to run a four speed so I'm concerned with the 360 being externally balanced and finding a flywheel for a 360 setup without paying too much.

I think I'm either going to build the exact 318/400hp combo that Hot Rod magazine built a few years ago or build a motor with the 4" stroke crank. I need to find out whether the cast stroker crank is machined to accept the pilot bearing if it isn't than it's going to make me cheap out and go with the stock stroke 318 and focus all of the machining on the top end. Besides with the stock crank being cast with the stock rod ratio of the 318 I think I'll be less likely to break parts.

Then your in the wrong hobby. Theres nothing better than a new set of T-bars to change how an old Mopar rides and handle.

Suspension is everything when doing a MOPAR

We all know we can get horsepower. Build the car first and the motor second. Put them together and have a blast.
