I have been wanting to get my tow buggy painted for some time now. It runs good and all mechanically safe and sound, just needs to look a bit nicer,,I thought. My wife told me that she sees where some people are actually aging their vehicles to give it 'patina'. I thought about this for awhile, and I have to agree with her. My truck DOES have 'patina' that a fresh paint job does not have. I am really glad I didn't mess up the 'patina' by having it painted. Gotta' count myself as one lucky guy to have a wife guide me before I made a mistake and messed up my stylish truck. She has such a good head!! I told her to pick up something for herself for Christmas. She came home with the prettiest diamond ring,,,WAIT,,,it was ON SALE!!! She is always finding ways to save me money.

Yeah, my 20 yr old parts haulin' farmtruck has so much patina that the idler arm is about to break away from the frame. I love the simplicity and no stress as more metal falls with every slam of the door.

Picked up a 24 yr old rustfree KY truck from a coworker. We're gonna go "shoptruck" on this one, lowered, mild cam'd smallblock, painted steel wheels. It'll tow the 440 powered vintage skiboat just fine.

I put a new pair of doors on my truck(95 Dodge diesel
dually)that was $1000 for the doors... then I gave
it a fresh paint job... I had plenty of the paint..
now I need to finish up the bed and shoot it... maybe
this year
