I'm working on a friend's '72 RR/GTX - he got a header emblem from Mike at B E & A, some NOS "GTX" emblems, & would like to get some correct "road runner"s w/pins for the 1/4 panels. (are they the same as '69 & '70?) He has some adhesive "road runner" emblems but I'd like to use the original style pinned ones.

The 68-72 Pinned type are the same but I remember seeing a different font on the pin type once but as long as they match it doesn't really matter. I think Nos is your only choice for them if you want quality pieces as the reproductions are really bad looking and the pins are soft since they are a lead cast reproduction that melts in the sun....

the finish surface on the face (the chrome, not the black painted area) of the repops I've seen is different than originals too
