I haven't had one done, but I saw a 70 340 air cleaner that Leanna from Phoenix Specialty Coatings did.....and it looked nice. I know she's a member on FABO, but not sure if she's on Moparts. She does awesome work, and is a Mopar gal, so check with her and see.

Here's the air cleaner for my 1970 Duster 340 that Leanna did for me. The quality of her work is outstanding!

Here's a past thread with pics of originals: https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...part=1&vc=1

The originals were not very uniform and perfect looking. And there's variability of the amount of wrinkle in originals too. Some course, some light.

The powdercoat winkle is very uniform and looks perfect.

I've had great luck recently heating the aircleaner in the over to 150 deg. Then painting it and putting it back in the oven for 30-60 min. It very consistent, if you don't run the paint. And I can run my fingernails on it after it's been baked on.

The finish is very close to factory wrinkle. Leanna runs Phoenix Specialty Coatings. She is a member on For A Bodies Only and does a lot of coating on Mopar parts. I've seen some pictures of A body Commando valve covers. Check out her site.

Wow, thank you all for the amazing votes of confidence!!! I love my job.

Just like every winter, my dance card is pretty full already but I can probably make some room if a Spring deadline is acceptable. Please talk to me first if it's shorter ... rushes can occasionally be worked in too. Thanks again gentlemen!! Ya all made my day! << grin >>
