Just curious if build sheets were found in the LA cars more or less than the Hamtramck cars?

Thanks for the help on this!

Less, LA plant had a no trash in car policy, so many build sheets where removed from the cars before they where delivered to the dealers.

My one owner, unmolested 71 Duster 340 was LA built and it never had one. Very common for LA built cars to not have one. I only found a small scrap piece stuffed in the metal cavity behind the sail panel.

There was a really good thread about LA built cars in the restoration section a year or two ago.

I'm generally not a very lucky person, but for some reason EVERY LA built car I have owned, has had a broadcast sheet still in it! A couple of '71 B-bodies and a couple of '70 B-bodies...

Same with my 1968 GTX Los Angeles plant built, no buildsheet. My car is a one owner car as well and was totally unmolested when purchased. I have had the carpet and interior out and nothing.

The broadcast sheet in my 1970 LA built Dart was for a car 266 VINs earlier than mine. I still need to check under the carpet for another one.

My '71 Duster was LA built. I've talked to previous owners. No build sheet! To bad, I do wish it had one!

Did that other car have the same color and trim level seats?

Same interior code, different outer body color.
