I am going to plop a Gen 3 Hemi into my 1984 2WD, manual shift pickup and was curious what I should look for for a set of headers.

Thanks for any input!

I haven't seen any specific to that application but I have seen a Ramcharger on youtube that had the swap done, but gave no info about the exhaust / headers.

Basically I am trying to find out if I can use a set from a different body style.

Im having the same issue with headers fitting my 88 2wd Dakota that I swapped a 5.7 into. The drivers side is no problem but the passenger side is TIGHT. If I cant make a set of LX body shorties work, may just have to make some. I have a set of long tube pacesetters for a 03 1500 2wd that look like they may work on a pre 94 fullsize truck.

Another possibility is 06-10 Jeep SRT factory headers (they're a shorty header). They hug the block more than the LX SRT headers

SRT 8 Grand cherokee long tube headers (stainless works brand) are close. if I remember correctly one of the tubes had to be adjusted on the left side.... The passenger side fits fine in a 76 2 wheel drive with the 6.1 Hemi in it
