427 Ford FE block is 4.2328 bore x 3.784 stroke. 427 inch stroker in a 351 Windsor block is 4.040 bore x 4.170 stroke. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I'm NOT a Ford guy, just a wiseguy.

In a SB Chevy, Ford ,AMC or Mopar it would be tall In a V12 or V16 alison aircarft engine, not so much BTW, I've built several motors using both 4.500 and 4.375 stroke in Mopar BB wedges and Hemi motors The 526 C.I. (4.380 bore x 4.375 stroke) N/A wedge motor made 845 HP, the N/A 572 C.I.(4.500 x 4.500) wedge motor made 875 HP on race gas The blown street Hemi motor with the 4.375 stroke made 927 HP at 7300 RPM with 7 lbs of boost Same motor made 1024 HP on race gas at 6500 RPM detonating with 12 lbs of boost
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
