I've got a Victor W2 intake manifold that is unmodified...other than gasket matching. Is their any measurable performance gain to be had by having this intake modified (plenum and divider work)? This will be going on a street/strip 12:1 340 with a ~.580 lift 250/256 @ .050 solid flat tappet cam. I've seen postings on Moparts showing work done on these intakes, but don't recall hearing about the gains and how they might show up with my mild combination.

I'm a BB guy and don't know what W-2 intake looks like, other than having oval port exits. Does this intake have a standard Holley-type carb mounting pad or a spread-bore opening?

It's got the standard Holley mounting pad. I've read that this is a good manifold on W2's...just wondering if it can be made better.
