is the 727 mods usable on the 46re ?
its time to step up to a track only transmission but not whit manual valvebody ,whant nice firm shifts
need some advice on the valvebody ,hole size etc

the solid servos ,accu blockerods etc i have

Pic #1 is a ball blocking the 1-2 shift control valve, makes the 1-2 shift firmer at all throttle settings.

Pic #2 passage wall removed increases fluid flow to the 2-3 shift valve.

Pic #3 is a blocker rod for the shuttle valve, used in most cheap plate kits but not in reprogramming kits.

If you're gonna block the accumulator be sure not to use a plastic piston.

Separator plate holes sizes same as 727.

ok what do the blocker rod for the shuttle valve do?
i whant firm shifts ,one step below running full manual vb

The shuttle valve softens the shift when the throttle is lifted. Why one would want to eliminate this function is beyond me.

ok thanks for your reply you are an transmisson god ,i have a spare valvebody so i could do everything and change back to oem if i dont like it .



any more mods you could think of ? (valve body)

i dont like the restriktor in the direct feed channel always put in more springs in direct drum and run 3.8 or 4.2 ration on kickdown band
