Hello everyone, I have a friend who needs an air bag clock spring for his 1989 Chrysler Fifth Avenue that he bought new. His car has a tilt wheel and the part number for the clock spring for the tilt wheel steering column is 4373412. This is an obsolete part that none of my local parts stores or Chrysler dealers have. Does anyone have any ideas on where to locate one NOS? Thanks, Bob.

That's a turn signal switch, he needs a clock spring.

If an NOS one doesn't turn up, he might try a pick-a-part yard. They are plentiful and cheap there.

Master, again and still

It may be a TS switch but it is the part number the OP gave.

Looks like some part number homework is needed.

I'm not sure what is going on with the p/n. I googled it and some results said it was a clockspring and some said it is for a t/s switch.

If I would have had more time today I would have looked up the number of a place I have bought some discontinued '80s parts from. If the OP doesn't find one by the first of the week I'll do some searching.

Besides tilt and air bag, whether it has cruise control is usually also a need to know.

What I would do.

For sure wouldn't want to trust anything Jobber to run something that will blow up in your face. OEM or nothing for this application.
