looks like a good start
is that a factory hole in the roof? if it is I believe its a 35 I think that was the last year befor they went to a solid top in 36.
now comes the fun part trying to locate the rest of the body parts, doors and trunk lid might be a little hard to find but I am sure that stuff is out there.
congrats on getting it home Ron....

Good start! Could be a 36, they still had hole in the roof from the factory. For sheet metal parts try the Plymouth Doctor http://www.plymouthdoctor.com/index.html
For chassis and fiber glass try Street rod parts and memorabilia http://srpmstreetrods.com/
Good luck!

Some more info- There are two metal tags on the fire wall. The lower one will start out with P1 or P2 if it is a 36 Plymouth, D1 0r D2 for 36 Dodge. The designation for the 35 Plymouth was PJ not sure about the 35 Dodge.

It's a 36 for sure. The windshield has pointed lower corners and 35 was rounded on all four corners. Also a 35 will have a short trunklid kind of like if it had a rumble seat. 36 goes most of the way down to the body line. I've got a 36 coupe rolling chassis that needs some work if your interested.

In the 30 plus years I have been chasing the 36 I have never seen an original without the soft top.

Coupe and 4dr sedan front doors are the same. 2 dr sedan doors are about 4 inches longer if I remember correctly and 35 doors may interchange. Doors will be easy enough to find. They pop up on ebay. Trunklid will be tougher as it's a one year only thing but they have been on ebay also. Check out the H.A.M.B. website. Great place for info and parts for what your doing.

I have a 36 sedan or coupe grill shell, radiator support and headlight buckets that are very solid but mangled. My 37 pickup pieces, althouh also solid were worse than these but with time and effort came out pefect. If you have the time, tools and expertise, these can be returned to original. PM me if interested.
