Are they hard to get parts for? I would like to swap the auto shifter collar out for a floor shift collar. Anybody know where I can parts for these? Thanks.

What car do you have ? The only Plymouth that MIGHT have had a title column in 69 would have been a C body.

It was a C body. Had a 383 in it. I have this column since the 90's.....thinking about doing something with it. Look something like this one. stabbing waggon

I read once that they're Saginaw columns, so parts shouldn't be too hateful.

I cut my 70 B Body column apart and made it look like a floor shift. Its a little work but it doesn't cost anything.

The turn signal switch for 1968 & 1969 C body tilt column is rare and expensive. They usually sell north of $300.

I used a 71 ny tilt/telescopic in my 65 wagon and even made steering wheel removable-I needed a turn signal switch and as above was stated mopar used gm columns. my column used a 67 corvette ts switch which I got off ebay from corvette vendor for about 40 dollars also look at aap,az o boys. get wiring diagram and match wiring

do you have any pics of your removable wheel set up ? i'm just finishing up a column build for my humpback project using a 78 tilt/telescopic knuckle that has a removable wheel. i didn't bother looking for a floor shift bell. i just mowed off the column shift lever and key switch, filled the holes with aluminium slugs, then turned the bell on the lathe to the factory tapered shape. the hard part was making a spring loaded horn ground switch for the removable hub.

If your column is in fact a Saginaw tilt unit, I just went through the same problem. After days of researching and hunting for floor shift style column parts I gave up and performed the required body work to my stock parts.

will try to post pics but not too successful doing it. because it is gm column, u can use a quick disconnect kit for a chevy. I used a grant wheel and using the long stainless steel cover mounted it between wheel and female part of disconnect. then I put a 3/8 drive impact socket 1/2" and welded it into female part of disconnect. that way when u use a longer 5/16 bolt and index it properly, u can still use telescoping feature. I don't have a horn so no big deal for me. then I drilled hole thru stainless cover were I could use aircraft type release pin and it is about 3" long. it goes thru drilled hole and into groove on disconnect. it took about 10 hours to get all parts aligned and indexed to work as slick as it does. I will try to take cell pics sunday of it
