I'm one of the lucky ones who ordered the black hood option(car is white) November 1st and now being told it won't be here until March. They didn't anticipate this many people opting for the black hood option. You would think in the year 2014 manufacturing a black hood would not be so difficult.

Hey, I hear satin black is hard to pull off... the paint guy is probably stuck in an endless debate in the "Moparts Restoration & A12 Forum" on what exactly is the correct color of black he should use.

I like that green but the hood

Looks like it was damaged, then replaced and the owner was too cheap to put any paint over the primer

I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!

If the treatment was extended to the tops of the fenders, maybe, but just the hood, meh...

That being said...I can only imagine the countless meetings needed for a black hood option...
