2003 Ram 1500 rwd. I'm looking to soften up the ride some so what shocks would best for that?

I used Bilstein shocks on my 2002 Ram CTD. I got them from Geno's Garage. I am using KYB shocks on my '87 D100 and I got them from Rockauto.com.

I don't have any experience with "softening" the ride of a truck

Cant go wrong with Bilstein. Cant say they are softer, but they are certainly a step up in control over most shocks. Tail end stays much more in control over washboard roads.
