hi guys, installing plow on my 2003 ram - i need to tap into a switched 12v somewhere, either under the hood or in dash somewhere....the only switched 12v i found was some orange/white wire under the steering column, however it loses 12v as soon as i put the brake on or goes out of park.....i know the cigarette is swithed 12, but i can't find the wire for that - must be tucked way up in the dash....if there is no easy wire to get, i can always just run a switch to any hot wire - there's a lot of those and easy to get at.
