Does an LA 360 use the Same Exhaust Manifold as a 318, or are the Exhaust manifolds for the 360 larger?

I'm thinking that if there is a difference, that either would bolt to the heads, but are the ports and exit the same size?

I know the later '92-'93 magnum upgrade makes a difference, but my question is with regard to '91 and earlier LA engines. Thanks.

Its not enough to make a difference. They did an article some years ago where they did back to back tests with all the SB manifolds including the 340 HP ones and on a mild built street/strip engine they were all within a few HP of each other, something like a 6-10 HP spread from the 318 logs to the sought after ones.

Some years used the same manifolds for both. The ones on my 88 318 were the same size as my older 360.

Thanks for the great replies, information and link. I suspected there were different manifolds. I'm new to Small Blocks. The one in my new-to-me '74 Power Wagon is a 360 engine, but it seems to have the smaller CI exhaust manifolds. Just got a pair of the slightly larger manifolds from Kevin H on Moparts. Eventually I'm going to swap in headers, but for now I'm using CI manifolds.

Keep the manifolds in the truck, I had a 79 power wagon, the headers always had problems. Wished I would have kept the manifolds. Just use the dual exhaust and save yourself a lot of maintenance. Tim

I ran Summits cheap headers on about 3 trucks.Only problem I ever had was one set rusted away after about 8 years.They were used mostly for plowing and sat a lot the rest of the year.If I had drove them they would have lasted longer.Rocky

My truck has headers, don't know how old they are but not causing any problems.
