Its not enough to make a difference. They did an article some years ago where they did back to back tests with all the SB manifolds including the 340 HP ones and on a mild built street/strip engine they were all within a few HP of each other, something like a 6-10 HP spread from the 318 logs to the sought after ones.

Keep the manifolds in the truck, I had a 79 power wagon, the headers always had problems. Wished I would have kept the manifolds. Just use the dual exhaust and save yourself a lot of maintenance. Tim

I ran Summits cheap headers on about 3 trucks.Only problem I ever had was one set rusted away after about 8 years.They were used mostly for plowing and sat a lot the rest of the year.If I had drove them they would have lasted longer.Rocky
