I ran NSS at the first few NMCA races this year, the Hot Rod Reunion and in a 3 race series that ran in chattanooga, in North Carolina and finished at Atlanta Dragway. I finished runner up in the 3 race series. Runner up the first event, won the second and lost first round at the last event...to my father.

Started the year off at the NMCA race in Bradenton Florida.

Had a great season...Couple of wins...New best of 4.86 @ 146mph with a 1.140 sixty in the 1/8th at 3200#...The only problem I had was we wore out to many sets of 275 drag radials !!!!

First time I can remember we're on go before the new season starts !!!

had a late start to the season but did manage to get to 3 semi's. also had new best 60ft. I box raced most the season and had a blast. pretty cool to see my small slicked car go rds against full tube chassis cars

Been a long road back. Duster hadn't seen a track since 2012. I "adopted" the ride from my dad as he retired from racing. The W8 build had been slow going so we fitted the old iron headed stock stroke KB piston 360 between the frame rails as a "plan B" if the W8 gives us too much grief. We attended a few bracket races in the spring and ran a best of 10.909 with that engine. Would have been better if it had it's matching 904 trans and a 56 gear, but the old 727 and converter from the W5 era had to fit the bill. After 4 or 5 points races we were up to third, but after Mopars at The Strip the car came back apart to continue the W8 quest..... still trying to seal that deal!

I had a good season. Won the GoodGuys race a day when I left the trailer at home and drove the car to the track...that was fun . Had quite a few trips to rounds 5 and 6, but were not quite a W.

Only got out a few times this year but had a great time at Mopars at the Strip. Decided to jump in to AFX/NSS last minute and made it to the finals in against Mike McCallum(Old Reliable). Had to dial time in quarter seconds. Best it would run was 10.59 so had to dial back to 10.75. Didn't want to mess with rigging a throttle stop or adding weight to slow car so, I fender raced 'em at the end. Got extremely lucky first round doing that and ran a 10.75 with a Zero on a 10.75 dial, see pic. First time racing a pro light too...

Mike ran me down in the pits after final round and encourage me to go get a pic too, even though I was first loser If I run with those guys next year, I think they'll want some kind of name on name on the car. Maybe I'll put the trim back on too.

Took me a LOOOOONG time to get mine back together this year. Only made it out twice, but with great results.

1st Race BGR Quaker - Won the Heads up Street tire race!!!

2nd Race MM Norwalk - Went to the Semi Finals of the CRT 10.0 shootout and the last 6 cars of PRO in the SAME NIGHT before the trans puked all over the starting line from too many hot laps!

New best 9.88@137.67 on street tires. Not bad for a cast crank/stock block 360 @3740lbs! Can't wait for next year!!!!

This is kind of a crazy picture from the mopar race at MIR in October. My cousin snapped this and didn't get the whole car. I've been trying to get in touch with the track photographer to get the whole picture. Needless to say. We need to tame the whole shot a bit. The car set the '60 at a 1.48 with the back tires.

Not a bad year. A runner up and a few semi finals and some 1/4 finals this year. best part was getting dad back in the driver seat of the green machine more.
