Pics from your season.

Ok its winter and its slow so I am messing around with some pics from the one time I did make it to the track and finally got some pics and video of my brother and me racing each other. We started going to the drag strip in the 70's as I first took my 66 Dart 273 to the track in 1974 and shifted my 4 speed to 15.0's !! Well this is the first time in all the years my brother and I have raced that we got to race each other in a time run and get some pics and video of it. We did race once last year as I ran his 68 tube frame Cuda in eliminations. But I wanted some pics of his 64 which he races in Nostalgic SuperStock and my 63 which I ran in the NSS class also in October. We both really like the NSS racing alot as we love the cars from that era that we grew up in so it was nice to get his 64 and my 63 together looking just about like they would have 50 years ago. Well I am messing around taking some pics off the video my niece took as I was stopping the video and taking some pics with my digital camera. But they did not turn out so good. But I would enjoy seeing pics of your cars racing this season so I was hoping you all will post some pics since we wont be racing or driving our cars much for a few months hear on the east coast. I tried to get this pic right as my brother and I launched. I caught the cars about when I wanted to but pics dont turn out so good taking them that way. But I would love to see racing pics from everyone's season as I do enjoy pics of Mopars racing. Ron

My season was interesting lol. Lots of new car bugs with plenty of signs of potential.

I havent raced in a couple of years... spent all my
time getting this done(if it ever is).. finishing up
installing injection... I WILL have it on the track
next year so I can dial it in

The highlight of my "season" was FINALLY getting the front suspension done on this heap and was checking front end ride height. Is that sad, or what??

Might get around to a motor this winter and all of the small stuff that I need to do.

I had a good season. 3 wins, 3 RU's, 5 semi-finals, and a top 5 finnish in Sportsman at Bristol. Also, one of my engines (541ci RB) won the track championship in footbrake at Cherokee Raceway (IHRA track, Rogersville, Tn). Nice season indeed!

My only win this year.

2014 was another fun year with lots of racing with my highlight seeing Matt win on Saturday at the Curt George Memorial race at Quaker City. I ran a couple of "new bests" so that keeps me satisfied. Really looking forward to a new better 408 in my Duster for 2015 and running some heads up stuff in the new Duster. Matt is switching out his 360 engine that ran 10.50's to a higher compression 408 build that we are gathering parts for. A couple of action shots of my Duster at Pittsburgh Raceway Park.

Had great times with NSS Inc. Made many new friends and had great time with existing ones. It's only the beginning of winter and I already miss spending time with everyone.

Here is one of my dad doing a shake down pass with his fresh built 65. Notice the sand pouring out from the wheel wells. We told him not to media blast that dam car. When he came back to the pits he yelled at me and said I gave him a bad chassis setup..... Father knows best I guess.

Didn't get out much, when I did it was great!

Good year. My son won 4 of the 10 NSS races we entered and clinched his 3rd 422 Allstars NSS championship.

and one race. blew out my knee and knee surgery pretty much sums it up.

Congrats on the 9 second run Ange, I didn`t see you a lot this year, I heard NETO might add an 11.50 index class so you might see me a lot more next year.

I had a pretty good year, the first points half wasn`t so great but I managed to have a better second half finishing second in half points and qualifying for the NED Bracket Finals for the 8th time were I broke out second round and I didn`t go red. This year I decided to try something different : My close friend is real good at deep staging and a pro tree so I put him in the Dart to run the 11.50 index class at Raceway Park and the result was: we Won 3 races out of 6 and Won the Points championship. with him driving and me doing the stop settings, air pressure and tuning we turned out to be a pretty good team and we are looking forward to next year and some more index races at RP and me running Street points at Island. The coolest part of the season was being able to race at the E Town National meet in front of thousands of people as part of the 11.50 index exhibition , the response of the fans to my car ( including Roy Johnson ) was something I will never forget and one of the highlights of my racing career

Man that other car looks like a 71 mustang and a 68 chevelle had a baby. Very cool though.
