I have had all types in bracket drag race motors, usually cheap as I could run safely and some of the better ones in a NHRA legal stocker motor. Bottom line is get the best ones you can afford, there is power in the right valves. I would probally choose Manley Pro Flows for a street strip motor that I was not looking to out run the fasteset guys on the street, Ferrera if I was looking to outrun the fastest guys ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/Twocents.gif)

I've been using Pioneer stainless valves in my 360 engines for many years. They use the good stainless material, very competitively priced and I've never had a problem. I'm at work and don't have their catalog handy for more dtails, but you can contact them for sources. & more info. Pioneer, Inc. site

Ferrera are good pieces for the money IMO. I use them on most stuff I do. If money is an issue the Manleys are my next choice. My engine has Victory 2.40 intakes, that big enough ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif) But they are made of some goofy expensive material.
