Hello!

Have a question about the upper radiator hose for 340sixpack cars..

I have seen some repro hoses has the white line on them, while others dont. ( hose with the white line in pic)

Whats up with that? Not sure if i have seen this line on original hoses?

Thanks
Nicklas

I have.
I've even see the stripe on the upper hose on some 1969-70 B body big block hoses

OK,

And where could one find a correct repro hose with the "line" and part-nr?

Thanks
Nicklas

I used to make the hoses with the white line on them. It was a tracing line that was used when the hose was being made. All the original hoses I had (think I had four or five of them) all had the tracing line.

Chrysler slapped me on the wrist and told me to stop making them. I would of had to pay $5K plus royalties to keep making them. Oh well.

....there is nothing like driving my 1968 Hemi Dart around town and having people looking at you like you're nuts!!
