What color should the 70 b-body master cylinder and cover be on a disc brake super track pack set up? I've been trying to search on google for the last half hour but no absolute answer.. so far Ive seen all black (painted with booster) and natural base with black phosphate cap.. so which is right?

There was just a topic on this very subject. IMO it is both master and booster were painted black as a unit and then installed on the car. The "Guru" even told me that.
Yes painted as a unit at the same time.

Black is correct.

Dave
Dave, ever see this tag with part number and date code ?
I've seen that before, I think I have an NOS one around somewhere with a tag. The ones I've seen with tags don't have the date code stamped in the side of the casting either. I think that was how they did it until sometime in late 68 or early 69. Some of the master cylinders from the early '70s also had a tag. But those later tags would have part of the Chrysler part number and "POWER" or something along those lines, but no date code.

I think in the pic I posted it looks like the booster and lid are most definitely black but the master itself looks unpainted
My scheduled to be built date is 9/08 and is also a Lynch Rd Runner....yours isn't too far off A/01. Both Canadian cars
Dave, same as mine and original to the car.

The OE paint on the master cylinders did not normally last long.
When that pic was taken the car still had its 1969 Plate on it...so it couldn't have been more than a few months old.
