I'm putting a 5.7 Hemi in a 70 Duster. I used a spool mount k frame from a later A body V8. The new Hemi fits this type of mount better, and doesn't land the motor at goofy angles like the 67-72 A body V8 k frames, when a GenIII Hemi is mounted on them. I used TTI headers and motor mounts. I reworked their drivers side mount, and my AC compressor now fits in it's stock location. I am using a 545RFE transmission in my Duster, which requires a lot of work with a
to get in the car. I will be buying my wiring harness from Hotwire Auto. Got a local dude who is going to make me an EFI gas tank. I'll be glad when all this !@#**$ fab work is done, so I can get to painting the car! It's neither easy or cheap to do a GenIII to A body swap, but it will end up pretty cool.
