Same 2000 Ramcharger de Mexico mentioned in the posting about wheel cylinders, but luckily the front end is the same as any other 1500 Ram.

This truck has all the classic symptoms of a worn wheel bearing... Growls when driving straight, growls louder on a sweeping right turn. Pull the left wheel off the ground and there is play when you shake the tire at 12 & 6 o'clock.

BUT... I'd bet $1000 the noise is coming from the rear, not the front! Are my ears just playing tricks on me?

Looks like Rock Auto has the best price (by far) for a hub assembly. Any comments on which brand to choose? Don't want Chinese junk.

Jacking up the front, turning the wheel and finding slop is pretty decisive. Front is not happy.

Suggest you do the same on the rear... maybe an additional problem there as well.
