moparpoolman OP enthusiast M Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 356 NE	Will a Mr. Gasket Vertigate shifter work with a bench seat in a B Body? I know I will have to put a hole in the floor farther back than the stock location but not sure how far. Any pics would be helpful if anyone has one in their car. Thanks

68LAR master Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 4,013 South Park, Pa.	I went that route a few years back with my car. I got the shifter installed and adjusted as best I could to work. If adjusted to go into third or first, it would hit the seat in second and fourth. If adjusted to go into second and fourth, I'd smack my knuckles on the dash for third and first. I just couldn't get it to work and feel comfortable. You might be better off looking for a Ram Rod shifter. Just my 4 speed street legal. Best time 10.99 @ 124 mph on 93 octane pump gas @ 3926# total weight
