My advice is to anyone contemplating a huge project is to really assess the minimum that would make you happy with a car.

Trying to keep up with guys on the internet, or guys on the car-fabbing shows, or you own vision of how you'd do it if you were Jay Leno, is a slippery slope.

Trying to build something to impress other people is folly, as it'll last for only a minute before someone else steals your thunder with the next cool thing.

So ask yourself - would a nicely-done car with a minimum of frills, sitting in the garage, ready to go *right now*, do it for me? It's good to have a little hunger to make you motivated, and I'm not saying to settle for 2nd best, just step back and figure out why you really want something, and if that reason is healthy for you.

And for all the advice you get, from me or anyone else, you'll be the one that has to hoe the row you choose, not any of us.

So, taking some time listening to what you guys having to say and being moved by some events that happened to me over the weekend, I think I'm just going to go for the KISS route and pay as I go. Find a decent 360 that will drop right in and will be a good core for a stroker in the future.

I'll most likely plan up for an 833 swap in the future. To be honest, I'd like to have the T56 (All of my cars have been 5 or 6 speeds), but the 833 will be an easier swap (less fabrication, practically bolt on). If I have money later on, I'll just purchase a Passon 5-speed. But for now, I just want to enjoy it and drive it around town, in the mountains, and at some local autocross events. If I really wanted to do some high speed type of events with a torquey engine, I've got some 2.76 gears I can put in another carrier.

You can do another MuuMuu report while sitting in the car while it's on jack stands.

I can't remember the last time I had a completely "Free" weekend and I don't have little ones running around.

Cool looking dogs what breeds are they?

Here is our 1 year old Aussie.....

Onto the topic at hand I would use most of the parts you have today to get the car out. As with any project the scope will always move on to the next thing...paint, etc etc etc

I'll let Goody field the questions. After all, I stole that pic from his FB page.

Yeah, I've been meaning to do so as it's been almost 6 months since the last one (which is absolutely terrible for a video channel). However, I just haven't thought of a topic nor had the time to do so (which is a stupid excuse because the last one took me 30 minutes to film). This thread; however, has given me an idea of what I could talk about.

You can always plop yourself down on the floor of the garage, lean back against the car, and start yappin.
