I have a NOS alternator here, has a double groove pulley, stamped 3412291, has dual terminals, sold to me as being a 60 amp, its a round back, with zinc screw, a raised center bearing. Can't find any info on this casting number, its a 1969 unit...any help with an id?

The #"s on the pad above the batt terminal are 3412291...thanks for your interest and time to answer. Assembled 15 week of 1969.

The rear cover is dated 1968 and casting #2875416 - the front cover is dated Feb 1969... It has the dual terminals like the newer 43 week of '69 1970 alternators being discussed in another thread...

We looked through six years of customer core records and could not find another piece w/that part number. If you have an Advance or another chain parts store they should be able to verify the amperage output for you. I have a buddy checking all of his service counter books to see if he can find anything. Can you post a pic of the back and also what number is stamped into the pulley flange? I suspect this is a truck application...

Link to eBay auction eBay

The casting number on the raised pads of the alternators being close to matching the alt's part number, so there is no part number in the 1969 parts catalog to id it? Nothing to go off of in the 1970-71 parts catalog I have here. Thanks for tryimg men.
