I'm in need of a aluminum radiator for my Duster. I see a lot of them on the market. Before I wade through the ads, and listen to the radiator builders about their products, I thought I'd ask here first to see what you all thought about the radiators you've used in the past. What you might suggest is best for my needs.
What I need/want it to handle:
I've got a 416 stroker full roller motor.
I need it to handle close to 600 horse.
I want it to be as close to stock dimensions as possible.
I want it to direct bolt up into my '71 Duster radiator support (no I do not want to cut the radiator support any where).
Be able to use my stock shroud.
I will be using a stock fan. Therefore the stock shroud (when bolted on) must be in the same location as a stock radiator would have it.
Upper (driver side), and lower (pass side) hose location in the correct placement.
Take my automatic transmission cooling lines in the stock location/stock fittings.
Before you include the Champion radiator in your suggestions, they do not fit my criteria. Yes, I have tried them! Yes, I have one for sale if interested.
What have you used, how do you like it?
If you wish to include any contact info: duster@surewest.net
Thank you in advance for any help.

What happened to the 3.23 geared "street car" ?

Be Cool doesn't have one for you? They are pretty spendy but seem to be well built.
Regarding all of the strict requirements you state, you may have describes a "custom" application that absolutely nobody has on a shelf anywhere. The market just isn't there for it.
Griffin radiators are durable and well built. I had to have brackets welded to it to make it fit my car along with an external ATF cooler. I saved a bunch of money and it has never overheated. I know that Glen Ray makes both stock and stock appearing radiators for Mopars. You may get lucky and find that they will build a 3 core with stock tanks that will fit without mods, but I doubt they have them sitting there in stock.

Nothing happened to it. I just want it to run cooler in all conditions. The extra HP is to much for the stock Rad. I wasn't looking for an off the shelf Rad. in particular. Cost isn't of paramount concern (But,I don't want to spend more than the car is worth either). I know "someone out there" should be able to help me.

I have a Ron Davis radiator and coolant recovery tank on my Challenger with 505 stroker. I use the stock shroud.
They have direct fit rads or can build whatever you need.

I run Champion. Really satisfied with it and the price is really manageable too. They have an add in the for sale section here on MOPARTS. Check them out. Oh...And they are made right here in Cali... cr8crshr/Bill

if your duster has a 22" it wont run as cool as it would with the 26" ac radiators

so you have to decide. stock holes perfect fit? or the cooling of a 26"?

just my opinion

I run a Mancini "Muscle Car" radiator and matching shroud on my healthy 496. Top tank style, fits like stock (26") and cools great with AC. I am running the MP thermal fan kit and MP high volume water pump overdriven about 7% with it.

I'm pretty sure the 26" version would meet your needs. The 22" version maybe. 22" would need big fan, well matched HV pump, perfect tuneup and good ducting of ram air on a roll to have a chance at your power level.

From what I have seen posted, the Mancini rad can handle about 100 HP more than the Champion... other things equal of course.

I've been looking at MARK7 rads, any feedback?

You sure it's not the tune up? and it's the radiator?

I've had good luck with my Griffin exact fit Radiator I bought at Summit. The Griffin keeps my 650 hp Hemi cool and a couple coats of Eastwoods radiator black make it look stock. I used my stock shroud and a black flex type fan That I bought from Glen Ray. I think Griffin list the radiators in 22" and 26".

I run a Griffin in my 500 hp 440. Never have an over heating problem. The fit great and look stock, a little pricy but well worth it.

I've been looking around at some of your suggestions, then saw an ad for Wizard Rads. Any one running a Wizard rad.? Price looked good, and it comes with an aluminum shroud. I was really disappointed with the fitment of the Champion Rad. This is why I'd like to get peoples feed back before I just go out and get something else.

Ditto... on a Griffin for my 340/416.

Factory shroud and tranny lines retained.

**Suggestion** Whoever you decide on, see if you are able to order it without any mounting holes. This way you can position / align the radiator exactly where you want.

The A body champion radiator I got had the upper hose inlet to close to the center making it so you couldn't run a stock fan.

Yeah, that was part of my problem too. That, and I couldn't use the stock fan, or stock shroud. Had to do to much adjusting to get it to fit right. Again, it's up for grabs, still has the shipping box too. I can make a sweet deal, if your not worried about the things that stopped me from using it.

What model do you have? I have a CC374 in my Fifth Avenue and it fit just about in place of the old one (hose inlets and cooler hookups were spot on). It's a 26" though (don't know what A body radiator dimensions are)... The only modification I had to make was using some 1/8" flat stock to mount it as the ears weren't wide enough on the radiator itself. I couldn't complain as it was never advertised as fitting an F/J/M core support.

I went electric with mine, but my Dad used the same radiator and factory shroud in his coupe. No modifications to the radiator on his, just the shroud.

I have a mild 360 and it took the temp down from 210 to 180 on the e-way. Goes even further if I jumper the fans to stay on.

Mine:
