You my freind have a real challange in front of you on getting the drive shaft, tranny and rear end pinion angles correct Good luck I would shoot for getting the rear end hieght(pinion yoke) as close to the hieght of the tranny output shaft as I could to help eleminate any severe driveshaft misalignment problems Good luck

Set the engine and trans in your desired location and angle, set the rear end and point the pinion to the trans output shaft using a string line.Install the driveshaft. Now adjust the pinion angle for your suspension type.Adjust the angle from pinion to trans output shaft or off the driveshaft angle to pinion either will work,For reference ie:springs-4 to 6 degrees negative, ladder bar-2 degrees negative and 4 link-1 degree negative. We preferr using the shaft to pinion angle.

Try to point the trans output toward the rear axle too!
If it's pointing up or down a lot, the pinion angle won't help.

Good, very understandable, clear explanation.

Driveline angels keep your stuff from breaking. They are good to have.

And if the driveline is aligned in this preferred manor, this is the Only time you can use the Driveshaft as a Reference point for a Driveline Pinion angle.

And, if you can fit the rest of this car without issues, bless the driveline angels!

Its THIS SIMPLE. Point the tailshaft at the pinion, roll the pinion wherever it needs to be, pull a string, weld the mounts up.....DONE.
