My recent 408 stroker motor build has an Edelbrock Airgap intake and I am wondering if I will need to replace the factory original throttle cable and bracket due to a change in intake manifold height.

If so, which cable length should I order, and who makes the throttle cable brackets that I should use.

Any pictures of your set up would be appreciated.

I will be running a Holley and a 4 spd.

thanks!

I used one similar to this on my 340 duster with RPM air gap intake, a holley DP and manual shift valve body. It works good with the original cable. I was thinking I had bought mine from Mancini racing, but I am unsure. Hope it helps you out.
