Proform = Chinese = busted parts

I like the Mancini rockers for a mild app. They are Harland Sharp bodies which are some of the best out there. Just minus the roller center which really isn't needed. They were under $450 a set last I looked.

Buy Harland Sharp and be done with it forever, great product and customer service. I've ran them for years and years on several different cars, 2 of them were 9 second cars and one had high spring pressures with a roller cam.

I have the Mancini HS rockers and so far so good. I would have gone with regular HS but didn't want to have to worry about the rollers lowering my oil pressure. They're not much more than any of the cheap import roller rockers either.

Mancinis are great but Marsh has PRW stainless like Comps PERFECT for your application and reasonable--I just did a set on a 530 HP unit and they are doing great--never touched them on the dyno

If you take your time and watch ebay and some other sites you will find some GREAT deals out there. I currently have 6 sets of small block Harlan Sharp rockers that I picked up for fantastic prices. I bought one set so cheap you wouldn't believe it but when they showed up the shafts shown in the picture were not included. I called them and they said they would have 2 new shafts to me within 3 days and were true to their word. every set I've purchased were NEW.

Maybe I should should just put jessels on it.We are building a 500 inch BB with some "junk chinese" heads-sidewinders and it is going in a 66 ply convertable. I am a little concerned about aluminum rocker for years and years and thousands of miles. I see a set of stainles on bag for about 250 and claim good to 750 lbs spring preasure. Shouldn't be stressing them at all at 350. I have used HS on lots of things and like them but I don't need to put diamond where steel will work. As for proform I have used lots of their carb parts with out complaint and would guess there chinese also.

If I was you I would look for a set of USED proforms and call it a day. We love it when guys cheap out and come back on posting about cheap rocker arm issues.

On a build like that I wouldn't be afraid to use a set of old Iskys or Crane ductile rockers. They pop up for sale every once in a while.

Thanks Ted, I sure would not mind to use a set of the Isky's with the hardned pad. If we don't find anything I am sure we will use the HS. Just thought maybe somebody had some experience with some of the others but they must not be on here. I wonder who they do sell them to or maybe they don't sell any of them. It's just like all things I am sure Oliver rods are better than what we used but would just be total over kill. You can't build every engine with the absolute best part made.

I ran Proforms for years on a mild 440 with about 500 lift. never had a problem. Sold them to my brother and he has been running them for years with no problems. I would run them again on a mild build and not think twice about buying them again.
