Fellas, I'm at garlits swap meet and new set of Indy heads no paperwork dont know which they are 440-1,sr, ????

They are standard port, angle plug, small closed chamber. No numbers except cast in ICH 440 with oil lines and Manley headbolts $1500

If the exhaust flange surface goes from the valve cover rail past the lower head bolt holes and its a standard intake port, its an SR. If the exhaust flange surface ends before the lower head bolt holes its the EZ.

Thank you, with that visual info the exhaust surface is milled flat past the head bolts so it is a SR, not EZ, is this a good head to step up to from ported iron heads and can it be ported to be a much better head? Also does it use standard rockers or offset?

Little off topic but how is the swap meet? Big turn out? Haven't been in awhile and had thought about going but passed. Would plan to go next year if the swap side has gotten better.

I spent Sat and Sun selling and did quite well, found a couple of good deals, I saw lots of good useable parts at reasonable prices. There are a few outliers with crazy prices

The days for the swap is noon to late Friday and all day Saturday, Sunday the swap really slows down but there are deals to be made. I would say30% of vendors leave Saturday night. Weather is spectacular

Looks like I saved about $800-$1000
on this deal.

SR heads, oil lines, valley plate and Manley head bolts $1500 the ICH website says $2380 (with Pushrods) not including shipping.
