Challenger 1 Too Many Posts Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 28,312 Cincinnati, Ohio	They are 3/8-16 thread size, we can't tell you the length without seeing your engine stand. What I do and have been doing for 20 years is use all thread and a nut a washer. I have hung many heavy truck engines this way including my hemis. That way you can be sure it's screwed into the block all the way. Studs are always better. Grade 5 is fine, you don't need grade 8.
