With the INDY heads and other MW clone heads out there using originals (IMO) isn't the way to go. There are just better options out there. Off course this does not mean MW heads are useless, just for the same money and sometimes even less you can use a better head. Save the originals for original MW cars IMO..

I know of two people that use MP Max Wedge heads on there "stock looking" restoration projects. Both engines look very stock and are making 525+HP.
It all depends on what you want to build.
....there is nothing like driving my 1968 Hemi Dart around town and having people looking at you like you're nuts!!

So are you saying with the factory cast 62-65 max wedge heads you can't get 525+ hp ? ( stock looking )

Using the MP Max Wedge heads with the 2.14 and 1.81 valves and some mild porting.....yes, 525hp is not a big deal.
