Year?..if it's any good? Sonic checked very good for what it's worth.

Eric .. if you have the Mopar big engine book it'll tell you the year(mine is out in the shop) but it wont tell you anything other than that.. if it sonic checks good then I would think its a good block

The last number 5 does mean its on its 5th casting, that doesn't mean its bad. For the year, its cast right into the block right below the casting numbers on the drivers side at the rear of the block below the heads on your engine block. Other years , its on the passenger side.
But with your numbers as posted it should be on the driver side. Reguardless, the year stamping numbers will be cast into the block. Look , both sides. Should be very visable, but maybe not super readable.
