Is this the why to affix the spare tire hold down stud with this couter pin type set up or would it be with a bolt and nut? Full size spare on a 70 Challenger.Thanks.

Hi Ron,
Is that hold down rod from your Challenger? I have never seen one with that curved end. The only way I know of these being secured is with a bolt and a nut. The nut for your application should have a red color plating. If you look at the jacking instructions decal it actually shows the bolt and the nut in the drawing. Hope this helps!
