The biggest issue is that you lose the stock fuel pump, you need to plumb in an electric pump as the serpentine system uses the real estate that the mech pump uses.
it is an easy install if you follow the order they established and prepare yourself for plenty of hours keeping all that shiney stuff clean.
IMO that stuff is for a show car and not a driver or even an weekend warrior.
I do not like "bling" to the point that it "forces" a unnecessary change like the fuel pump
here is a picture of a install on a friends small block 66 Fury ragtop.
Thanks for the Pic and the Heads-up. I have my fuel pump in my fuel tank, but knowing that the stock fuel pump doesn't work/fit is good to know. They have a black anodized kit too that I may like. I'm like you, I dont like being a slave to bling, but I am a major fan of Form, Fit and Function an this kit looks to have all three
I noticed that your friends' set-up has A/C, but where are the hoses?

I have the big block kit too with the remote power steering reservoir. The remote reservoir was not fun (or cheap) to hook up. The appearance cap on the water pump had to be removed to clear my dual electric cooling fans. I think a small block may have more room between the water pump pulley and radiator. Otherwise, it functions great. Love the 144 Amp alternator, and A/C.

This is with almost everything done, just need to connect the heater hoses.
Could you post pics showing the A/C lines? Plumbing?
