Anybody use any type of sealer on the Trans cooling line fitting that screws into the radiator?

99 times out of a hundred you don't need it because it's an NPT thread but I still like to wrap the threads with yellow Teflon tape.

Even though an NPT thread is an interference fit, plumbers always use some type of sealant i.e. pipe dope, Teflon tape. etc.

ALWAYS use sealant on pipr threads
