Thanks for the offer to help

I found a guy here local to do it, who owns a welding business.... Will pick it up today and knock it out Monday

All goes well car should be running Tuesday. Norwalk is getting close, need to sort this thing out at the track probably twice before then.
I expect some teething problems as a couple of things are probably marginal to support what I hope the car can run( mainly fuel related) won't know till I lean on it.

Got the link modified, fits nicely through the hole now.
But I have only about 3/4 or so turning ability turning right as idler arm hits pan. Full range to the right
It is what it is I guess.

Drag link isn't able to be bolted up on my A body. Put the nut on drivers side on, and the link is about 1.5 inches to high on passengers side from being in place.... Aargg
No way to turn the drag link down that much.... And thought about cutting it on each end and welding in a straight piece to replace how the factory bar is made ..... But an outstanding welder who could do it doesn't want the liability( understand his point).... So looks like this trick pan is unusable to me for this 318 mighty mite project

Unless somebody here has an idea....
71 Duster with slant 6 K and Shumacher conversion mounts.... Can't imagine it working with V8 K and different mounts either.... But who knows [/quot

Which one do you have the square one or the round one ???

Yep that's it.

Nice pan, but if using it with stock suspension and store bought headers....... Wear a metal hat to protect pulling your hair out
