i just went to order 15x7 keystone classics and both summit and jegs are 8 weeks out

any idea where to get any?

are there any other stocking dealers for them?

does anyone know?

Just an FYI...I got a new set of Keystones from Summit 2 years ago. The car sat outside in the summer for about 3 weeks, got rained on a few times, and the chrome pitted and the wheels started to rust. No warranty for rust. I'll never buy another Cragar product again.

Carlise (who actually is the company building Cragar stuff) does their chrome work in mexico...so who knows about quality I suppose.

As for time frames.. I just ordered about 10 pallets of steel outers from them, and they are running about 4 - 6 weeks or so out on most of them. They are cutting way back on what they are actually keeping in stock and on hand it seems like so would make sense they are doing the same for complete wheels as they are with components aside from super fast moving stuff.

The car got rained on 3, maybe 4 times, in a 3 week span, and the wheels rusted. I'd say I know about the quality...or lack thereof.

What people don't understand is that back when they were introduced. Keystone wheels were a pretty crummy, cheap wheel. If you saw them on somebody's car, you looked at them as you would look at wagon wheels today.
Ummm... No. Not THOSE wagon wheels. THESE crummy, cheap, wagon wheels.

Yep, when you show Keystones you knew they couldn't spring for good wheels, they were the cheapest chrome wheels on the market.

I use to have a 81 stepside with 15" chrome Cragar Nomads (wagon spokes) and all I had to do was put wax on them. They lasted for years without any rust drove the truck up & down dirt roads it was my daily driver, sold it 5 years years back. I would think any kind of chrome plated wheel would need some kind of car wax on them to help the keep the life & shine of the chrome. I would just wax them maybe 3-4 times a year whenever I would wash the truck.
