I have a 06 Ram 4x4 that I am having issues with keeping sway bar links on it. I know it is a horrible design, but I have put on 3 sets since the first of the year and this is getting old. I put on new ones and it feels nice for about a week and then it feels like the frontend is falling apart. It seems to be the passenger side, at the joint, that is loose when I take it apart. I also noticed that the sway bar on the ends, one goes up and the other goes down. Is this normal? As for the frontend I have new struts, upper and lower balljoints on it. Has anyone ever taken off the swaybar and drove it like that? Thanks for any help because this is getting old.

I install with the truck on the ground. Tried several different ones. Napa, Oriellys. Even went with higher priced MOOG with greasable joints thinking it would be better but they lasted about a week. As for binding I can't see anything binding. These trucks always feel and look like they are riding over themselves with the tires turned. Also have replaced the sway bar bushings to polyeurathane.

I won't buy them from Dodge because I'm sure they are expensive and still the same bad design. Those from youtube better be good for $140 a set. At least they look like they have a better design to them so the joint doesn't wear out.

Lasting a week?? That's crazy!!! Something has GOT to be f'd up. I had an '04 and that's one of the few things I DIDN'T have to replace! Is it lifted or wearing extra large tire/wheels? Worse case you could look into an aftermarket bar set-up such as Hellwig.

Yes considering I haven't wrecked it or don't bang thru potholes. It's stock lift and stock tires. Feels every expansion joint from the highway. Even had it aligned and and they said everything looks good.
