if we are talking about this:  and talking about a Cuda, you'll need to change the coupler body just because the diff size of the steering box splined stud ( smaller on powered ), not really due the year. The year change was waaaaaay earlier Maybe will need to change the column shaft too? due the diff lenght? dunno

Yep that is the piece we are talking about.
I have already changed the shaft and the I know the standard coupler will not fit the power box.
My questions is what year did the stop using that type of coupler?
I have seen the aftermarket ones, but man are they pricey!!!

I have my serious reserve about those universal joints... On chassis cars they can work NICE, but not on unibody frames, since the body flex, and the Coupler designed by Chrysler allows this flex without affect the steering shaft assembly. That's the reason for this kind of coupler

The input shaft on the steering boxes are different sizes.
Are you sure you did not change the coupler.
Can some one please confirm that the input shafts are different sizes?

Everything I read indicated that you need a different coupler.
