What are some of the best metal polishes on the market? And what is everyone using these days? I'm not looking to spend $20.00 or more on it. I like Wenol but I am just about out of it.I know I can get it off Amazon or Ebay but I'm afraid of purchasing somebodies imitation in the same tube if you know what I mean! I wonder if they will be selling any up at the Nats. I couldn'd find it last year and I know I bought this tube I have up there about eight or ten years ago. Thanks, Dave

Have you contacted Wenol for you local distributor?

If the wenol can be faked on Amazon, so could evrything else.

I think Wenol works really good and I've only used 1/2 tube in 10 years

I use a product called "Purple" from California Custom. I have used Autosol, Mothers and Turtle Wax metal polishes over the years, however like the Purple best for ease of use and shine. You may be able to find it locally. In my area some auto parts places have it, as well as some of the heavy truck dealers as they sell it for doing aluminum tanks, wheels etc.

Company site;

Amazon has it also;

here are a few http://thepolishguy.com/category/simichrome/

I've been using Simichrome on motorcycles since the early 60's. Works good for me.

I find it depends on what is available locally. But I've used a product called "Never Dull" Cheap, lasts a long time and works good.

Mothers or Mequiars with a good clean rag and as much heat as you can get by hand.
Remove with a high quality (California Car Cover)polishing cloth
