J Brough OP member J Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 55 Md.	Started restoration of a 70 Challenger. Will need to replace the firewall and cowl panel due to excessive rust. What do restorers do about the VIN stamp on the cowl? Restamp the new panel? If so how? Or should it just be left unstamped? Thanks, John

T2R9 master Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 2,754 Conway, SC	How bad is the upper cowl VS the firewall? I had the same situation where I wanted to save the upper cowl when I had to replace the firewall. I used a doaner section to repair my original and installed in on the new AMD firewall.
