I did on the next pass but I don't have a picture but in the picture I posted I went looser by accident on my rancho 9000 shocks to #7 and had a little wheel hop and so when I went back to #5 it launched smooth so the next time out I will go #4 or #3.

Don`t take this wrong but your car needs some work. Way to much rear seperation, too high in the rear and extremely nose heavy..........the first two are easy fixes but the 3rd not so much unless yo get rid of the blower and go n/a as you were questioning........

Ya the Caltrac would get rid of the arch by not letting the spring have leverage to lift the car.It is on the list.

The car is high cuz of the seperation, parked the tires are 1" in the fender at the top.The car may lift more without the blower weight[150#] but I don't need a wheelie and I get traction so that is all I need.Yes things could be adjusted better. The extra weight on the fron I think is equal to about 400 in leverage terms.

what does a launch like that do to your pinion angle? Seems like a lot of lift...

BINGO!!!The slapper bars are flat at rest and in the pic it looks like they are at 25+* up. I am sure that is killing my 60' also.

If those springs are s/s spring ditch the slaper bars. way too violent with spring and bar trying to wrap up then you don't have enough shock to control it. If you got wheel hop with the setting at 7 you have something wrong with you whole set up because the highter the no the stiffer it gets. what front shocks do you have, what torsion bars?

CE 90/10 front on 90 and .990 t bars for the extra weight up front. The tire only hopped 1 time on 7 setting so I may not have gave it a chance.I have to use the slapper bars or the spring really wind up[ss 3800# ]

Too many things you`re having to fight to harness that power........fix those things have fun and lower your et`s. Get c-tracs if you`re sticking w/leafs, lower the rear, get good shocks and you just might be surprised but I get it, these things cost $$$$$ which I too am short on these dayzzz.............Good luck man.

The leverage of those bars made your problem worst, you just have enough shock to control this. you make allot of torque with that thing and its probably not a light weight so you have to have the right equipment to help that. I still say ditch bars tighten up shocks to #9 no snubber and try that. we did that to our car and it picked up 60's big time.

I was told I could use Ctracs with the ss springs and I was thinking of doing that and buy the mono spring later.I think the slapper limits the wind up better than without but I get the same lift of the back end.I will try the shock setting,Thanks!

Lose the bars and tighten the shocks. If it's hooking already all that extra motion could be used to drive the car forward instead of up. keep tightening until the 60's slow down.

Mike, it's a street car, who cares..lol.. Kidding. You would flip if you knew how much the CalTracs helped my GTX. It even helped the BF Goodrich's stick better. Fran(10secgtx) has a good grip on how they work, so he can help "tune" if you like. He loves helping.
