What options are there for a bolt in 3 or 4 core radiator and a shroud with fan for a 1970 Dart?

IIRC Champion makes a rad like that. You can also get the OE rad recored.Did my kids 62 300 back in like 99 and had it made to 4 cors.Still cools great.Never over 190 even when its in the 90s.Rocky

I have a 70 DART with 360, bought an aluminum 3 core Champion rad from dealer/member of Moparts. Was an easy bolt in, fits with no issues. Temp never gets above 195, even while I was cruising around at Street Machine Nats a few weeks ago. I am not running a shroud, since I didn't have one to begin with, and also running a flex fan.

On my sons 72 Dart that was a 318 ac car we pulled the stock rad and had it recored. They added a row and we use that stock rad with the added row and the stock 318 shroud and fan. It has a 400 in it now and runs about 180 to 185 even on the hottest day. Even stuck in traffic for a 1/2 hr it never went over 190. It works great for us like that. You can just see the rad and shroud in this pic as its the only pic of have of the rad. Ron

Ron like you andI said a recore is probally the best.My kids 62 413 was 2 core and now is 4.Cost him about 325 at the time. When I need the rad in the 65 it will get the OE tanks I have and done to 4 core also. But the old JY 65 C body rad I have in it now is still going strong.Oh yeah Im knocking on my wood desk.Rocky
