I'm curious to. I have a 440 that needs something like a 750 Street Demon.

Bump.

I'm really wondering about the new style Street Demons that resemble the original ThermoQuads. 625 and 750 cfm

Pretty much a clone of a Thermo-Quad with a couple mods. They screwed up by not making a 1000fm.

Calling them a clone may not be the best way to describe the new Street Demons. There are several key differences between the Thermo-quad and the new Demons. But there are some similarities.

There are quite a few tests including one with a small block A body. Try Google.

What about the composite body vs the aluminum body? Composite is better heat wise, but how long would it keep it's shape without warping?

I have no experience with these carbs, But am interested in them as well.

One thing i noticed in the ads is the size of the primaries on the 750 version is 1-11/16” which is awfully big to be a true spread bore .

It seems that they just increased the size of the primary bores from the 1 3/8" size on the 625 to make the 750 which kind of defeats the purpose of the spreadbore design ?

All I can find on the 750 cfm Street Demon is great reviews and glowing magazine articles. The single complaint I found was that the screws on the top side were very tight. I'm a pessimist so I expect to find something negative or an application where the Demon is not well suited.
At $354 it's priced right.

I'm trying to choose between the Demon, the Holly Street Avenger and the Street Avenger Ultra.
The Demon reads like it's the best and cheapest, but what about in the real world on a low vacuum engine?

Its not a true spreadbore, it is designed to fit on a squarebore intake. One reason I suspect there is no model rated over 750 CFM.

A 750 Demon is in the mail. I'll be setting it on my 440 by the end of the week. I ordered a pack of step up springs as well.
